Four separate facts
- He advocated publicly for children’s helmet use through 2025.
- On 21 November 2025, at the XV Gala of Partnerstwo dla Bezpieczeństwa Drogowego, he received the ‘Osoba Roku 2025’ award and was described there as ‘a physician and educator’.
- Poland’s helmet obligation for under-16s using bicycles, e-bikes, e-scooters and personal transport devices came into force on 3 June 2026.
- He currently leads, as Principal Investigator, a government-convened scientific study evaluating the helmet law’s real-world effect on children’s injuries.
